My Thyroid Cancer Journey 🎗️🎗️🎗️
So there you go 😍 Yesterday I got my laboratory for TSH and Ionized Calcium.
Sabi ng endocrinologist ko exact 1 month or 7 days bago mag 1 month I have to get TSH and ionized calcium and IT HAS TO BE SO LOW dahil I deprived myself eating food with IODINE and i also stopped taking Levothyroxine (Thyroid Replacement medicine, since i don't have thyroid anymore) .
I was shocked when I got the results. 😭😭😭😭 Sabi ko sobrang taas kasi normal range should be 0.270- 4.200. Nagulat ako sobrang taas nya bumulusok pataas, halos maiyak ako kasi nasa 131.700 ang TSH ko. So i was thinking d tumalab ang "Low Iodine diet preparation ko". Then my turn came, halos maluha ako sabi ko sa Endocrinologist ko, i followed my strict Low Iodine Theraphy. D ko kinain mga bawal inistop ko ang Thyroid Replacement meds ko. Bakit po sobrang taas? It means po ba d pa ako pwede mag RADIOACTIVE IODINE THERAPHY?
Tapos natawa si Doc 😂😂 😂
DOC : Why are you crying? I think it was never explain by your previous endocrinologist.
If the result of TSH is so HIGH then it means the production of Thyroid hormones is so low. You're lacking of Iodine, it means effective ang Low Iodine Diet at pag stop mo ng Thyroid Replacement mo. You're good to go. Pwede ka ng I Radioactive Iodine Theraphy ☢ ☢ ☢
I'll give you referral, give it to Nuclear medicine so that they can get a Maxicare Accredited Nuclear Meds Doctor na mag a administer ng Theraphy mo. Make sure you tell them that it's going to be shoulder by maxicare because if not you will have to pay for it sa sariling bulsa mo.
ME: ( Tears of Happiness ) naiiyak, from 11 am inabot ako ng 4 am paikot ikot sa Manila Doctors para sa pag aasikaso ng Theraphy ko. Nakakapagod wala ako kasama pero lumalakas loob ko. My faith in God, my Inspiration, my family, friends, colleagues at work, my goals etc. I have too much strength I'm getting from you guys. God is using you'll to send me positive energy, love and light to push and move forward to the next step of my Fight.
I will be posting more updates here. I will be admitted to Manila Doctors this coming Sunday, If the Nuclear Medicine Doctor can't make it, then it's gonna be this coming Monday.
So I have to cancel all my upcoming schedules for Saturday, Sunday and moving forward. I will be admitted for 3 days and after that i have to stop myself from going near kids, pregnant woman, lactating mothers for a month (30 days) because the radiation in my body will take 30 days to dissolve thoroughly.
I guess i will be alone this new year's eve and Christmas. Makakatalon ako baka sakali tumangkad pa ako 🎄🎄🎄🎉🎉🎉
