7 year old boy who underwent bilateral tonsillectomy under general anesthesia.
It’s really nice to see you again. I’m very happy with your progress after your tonsillectomy. I know the first few days were not easy, but you handled everything very well and very bravely.
On today’s check-up, everything looks good. Your throat is healing nicely, and we’re now at the stage where you can gradually return to your normal routine.
So regarding your question, “Doc, pwede na ba kumain ng favorite food?"
1. Gatas
2. Hopia
3. Ice cream
4. Pandesal
5. Malunggay pandesal
6. Donut
7. Maki
The answer is yes, pwede na. You may start reintroducing your favorite food gradually. Iwas muna sa masyadong hard, sharp, or irritating food at first, and just listen to your body.
To mommy, thank you for your trust and for taking such good care of your child during recovery. Malaking factor talaga ang support niyo sa healing niya.
We’re very glad to have been part of your journey, from surgery to recovery. Nakaka-fulfill makita na from discomfort before, ngayon back to being happy and active na ulit.
You did very well, and we’re proud of you. Tuloy-tuloy lang sa pag-aalaga, and enjoy your favorite food na, slowly but surely. Good job!
