1st Local AIDS Council Meeting — Successfully Conducted! 🎉 |02.26.2026|

Today marks an important milestone for our community as we successfully conducted our First Local AIDS Council Meeting. This gathering brings together leaders, health workers, and partners who share one goal — to strengthen our response against HIV and promote awareness, prevention, and support within our community.

This meeting is not just a compliance activity, but a commitment. A commitment to create informed policies, implement sustainable programs, reduce stigma, and ensure that every individual has access to the right information and services. We believe that through collaboration, open communication, and united action, we can build a safer, healthier, and more compassionate community.

No Cap, Just Facts! 🧢 Olongapo’s Sangguniang Kabataan is making health awareness the new trend. ❤️

Last Feb 6, 2026, our SK officials took over the Civic Center for the "STI, HIV/AIDS Education: SK Takes the Lead" activity, led by the Olongapo City Health Office as part of the SafeLove campaign.

This wasn’t just a seminar—it was a full-on level-up! After a successful HIV 101 return demo, our SK officials are now equipped and ready to share this vital knowledge within their respective barangays. They are stepping up to prove that love is safest when it's informed. ✨

LOOK | Human Red Ribbon Knots at GC

In commemoration of World AIDS Day 2025, hundreds of GCians in red attire gather at Tapinac Oval Grounds to form a giant red ribbon, an international icon symbolizing solidarity with Persons Living with HIV (PLHIV).

Earlier, the college offered free HIV testing in the campus so that students and personnel may know their status. The program aims to destigmatize HIV and AIDS in the community, advocating for a safe space in campus for PLHIV living in the shadows of stigma. | via Lance Isaac Leon/The FOREFRONT
