Getting our young ones 👶👧 healthy and active 🤸🏻‍♀️ this summer ☀️🏖️ can be made easy with simple toys and activities that your children will definitely enjoy! 🤗

With basic sports toys such as ✅ bowling 🎳 and ✅ cones and rings, we are practicing ✔️gross motor, ✔️ fine motor, ✔️ balance and coordination skills of our adorable students which are great foundation for ⭐️ better focus and attention that will lead to ⭐️ optimal learning. ❤️💚💛

Is the summer heat ☀️⛱️ making your tummy grumble? Don’t worry, our Senior Discoverers 👦🧒 got you covered!

Who wants some ✅ healthy 🥬 and delicious 🤤ham and cheese sandwich 🥪? Or some ✅ freshly cooked potato mojos 🥔 paired with ✅ thirst-quenching banana smoothie 🍌🥤 suited for the hot weather? ☀️

Meal preparation 🍽️ is an essential life skill! ☝️So we are teaching our dear learners while they are young! 👨‍🍳

How gross motor skills are tied to learning development…

We’re talking with ABC about how gross motor development is critical for cognitive learning and growth as a child enters the classroom.

Many kids with underdeveloped motor skills experience emotional and behavioral struggles that prevent them from excelling in the classroom.

Some ways that gross motor skills support a child’s learning development include the following:

📖Eye-hand coordination needed for holding the paper while the child writes across the page
📖Balance and coordination needed for attention and focus
📖Core strengthen needed for sitting at a desk and listening to the teacher
📖Shoulder, arm, and hand strengthen for writing and pencil grip

These are just a few examples, but there are many other motor skills that help learning develop automatically without the child having to exert large amounts of mental and physical energy.
