The University of the Philippines Pre-Medical Society Cebu (UPPMSC) is launching a donation drive to support families in Northern Cebu gravely affected by the 6.9-magnitude earthquake last September 30, 2025.

Funds will be used to directly purchase goods, which will be relayed to official drop-off points for packing and distribution.

With the depleting blood supply in our blood bank right now, we humbly ask for your help in promoting blood donation so that all patients who needs blood will be served.

💪📌 In celebration of RA 10871, also known as the Samboy Lim Law, we brought our CPR Caravan to San Antonio National High School! This initiative allowed us to successfully empower student leaders, including the SSLG, DRRM members, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and classroom officers, with essential life-saving knowledge. Together, we focused on recognizing the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and learning how to perform CPR with confidence and skill.
Throughout the afternoon, students engaged in hands-on CPR training, practicing techniques that could make all the difference in an emergency. By equipping them with these life-saving skills, we are not only preparing them to act swiftly in times of crisis, but also promoting a culture of care and responsibility within the school community.

✨ Together, we are building a school environment that’s always CPR-ready—where safety, preparedness, and compassion are at the heart of everything we do. With each lesson learned, we take a step closer to creating a safer, more resilient future for all.

💪 The Philippine Red Cross - Ozamiz City Chapter, under the leadership of Mr. Mark Jayson Gallo, successfully conducted an Occupational First Aid and Basic Life Support/CPR with AED training on Sept. 13 - 14, 2025, at the SM Lao Hospital Compound 🫰
We are confident that the knowledge gained will make a lasting impact and be applied in everyday life!

Last Friday, September 12, 2025, the Philippine Red Cross – Ozamiz City Chapter proudly conducted a CPR Caravan for the NSTP students of Misamis University! 🏥🎓

Over hundreds of students actively participated and learned the basics of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) — a vital life-saving skill that can make the difference between life and death in emergencies. 💓

Our dedicated Red Cross staff and volunteers demonstrated proper CPR techniques and emphasized the importance of immediate response during cardiac emergencies. This is part of our continuous efforts to educate, empower, and equip the youth in building a safer and more prepared community. 🫶

🙏 Huge thanks to Misamis University NSTP Department for the warm welcome and strong partnership in promoting health and safety awareness among students!
