In line with the Administrative Order No. 2015-0045 issued by the Department of Health, a blood service fee will be collected by the Blood Service Facility that will cover the expenses of donor screening, blood collection, blood testing and component preparation, and the general/administrative expenses.

No other fees shall be collected by the Blood Service Facility such as deposit fees, blood bonds or non-replacement fees.

These tests are in place to make sure that you and/or your loved one is safe and that the blood collected has the standard and quality that is beneficial to the patient. Likewise, to make sure that the donor is fit to donate and to make sure that there is little to no complications encountered during blood donation.
