Delivered my first baby here in Batangas! 👏👏👏

Mom had a history of miscarriage, followed by preterm delivery at 22 weeks 😔

During this pregnancy, we were considering cervical insufficiency. I was contemplating on placing a pessary versus doing a cerclage, but serial cervical length evaluation showed a long cervix.

We were able to reach 37 weeks this time. Unfortunately the baby’s heart rate went down to dangerous levels during labor, and we had to deliver this very precious baby via C-section.

All’s well that ends well. God gives us our hearts desires in His right timing. 🙏🙏🙏

There are days when the challenges of this profession feel overwhelming. But today, I received a beautiful affirmation regarding a patient’s pregnancy that reminded me why I chose this path. 🩺🤰

It is a privilege to provide care, and knowing that my approach positively impacted such a pivotal time in someone's life is the greatest reward I could ask for. Back at it with a grateful heart.

Hindi dahil sinabing "high-risk" ay wala nang pag-asa. Ang ibig sabihin lang nito, kailangan mo at ni Baby ng extra alaga at VIP treatment mula sa inyong doktor. Minsan dahil ito sa blood pressure, edad, o baka naman twins ang laman ng tummy mo! 🛡️✨
