Impact of Blood Donation
🩸Every blood donation can save up to 3 lives!
🩸Blood donations help patients who undergo surgery, cancer treatment, and those with blood disorders.
🩸Your donation can bring hope and comfort to families in need.
🩸It's a safe and easy process that takes less than an hour!

Eligibility Criteria
✅️ Weight at least 50kgs (110lbs)
✅️ Normal blood pressure (will check on the day of the donation)
✅️ Normal hemoglobin
✅️ Enough sleep(at least 8 hours the previous night)
✅️ No alcohol consumption at least 24 hours before blood donation
✅️ No smoking before blood donation

Jamelarin Hospital West Wing | March 1, 2025

Staying true to its commitment to provide quality health services to the community and to be a compassionate conduit of health education, Jamelarin Hospital through the Clinical Laboratory Department Blood Services Unit, conducted a FREE Blood Donation Awareness Orientation and FREE Blood Typing Services.

A total of 85 attendees across three batches of orientation were consientiously handled by Mr. Mochsalin Balimbingan, Jamelarin Hospital Donor Recruitment Officer.

Jamelarin Hospital expresses its profound gratitude to the participants for being part of its mission to save lives through blood donation.

To keep the momentum going, a Mass Blood Donation will be conducted on March 22, 2025 at Jamelarin Hospital 3rd Floor West Wing at 8:00AM -12:00 NN.

Jamelarin Hospital is open to collaborate with organizations, colleges, and businesses who wish to extend FREE Blood Typing Services to members, students, and employees as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Blood-letting is an act of giving, a heroic deed that can lengthen the lives of others who are struggling because of illness or injuries 🫡

The Jamelarin Hospital Clinical Laboratory Department, in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross - Zamboanga del Sur Chapter; will conduct a Blood-letting activity on October 14, 2024, at Jamelarin Hospital, 3rd Floor, West Wing. The Mass Blood Donation will commence at exactly 8:00 AM until 12:00NN and it's open to all who are willing and qualified to donate blood 🩵

Voluntary non-remunerated blood donor : A person who gives blood, plasma, or other blood components of his/her own free will and receives no payment for it, either in the form of cash or in-kind which could be considered a substitute for money. Donating should be voluntary 🫰

The primary objective of the said activity is to collect blood products that will be utilized in saving lives and also proven to bring health benefits to the donor. Thus, we encourage all to give blood. Just one donation can save up to 3 lives. Let us together give blood and save lives.
