PAGADIAN CITY, March 16, 2026 – The Bureau of Fire Protection Region IX, under the leadership of FCSUPT JERRY DUHINA CANDIDO, DSC, Regional Director, formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with AISAH MEDICAL HOSPITAL, OPC to provide a 15% medical discount for BFP personnel under the program Kinse Porsyentong Diskwento para sa mga Bumbero.
Through this partnership, all BFP personnel nationwide, including their immediate family members and retirees, may avail the discounted hospital services such as consultations, emergency treatment, confinement, and other related medical services. The 15% discount is applied to the net hospital bill after PhilHealth and other applicable assistance have been deducted.
This partnership was made possible through the support and generosity of DR. BRANDO KHALIF S. JALLY, Medical Director of AISAH MEDICAL HOSPITAL, whose commitment to the welfare of firefighters made this initiative a reality. The MOA was formally signed and witnessed by representatives from AISAH MEDICAL HOSPITAL, led by OMAR "MARCO" TAMPUGAO, Assistant Chief Executive Officer, and PEARLITA D. ALBURO, RMT, Administrative Officer, together with the BFP Region IX Command Group.
The initiative was spearheaded by FCINSP CECILLE CARINO-ANGELES, Chief of the Fire Safety Enforcement and Prevention Division, in line with the observance of Fire Prevention Month. This marks the first-ever healthcare benefit initiative of BFP with a hospital in Mindanao and reflects BFP Region IX’s commitment to giving back to firefighters who continuously dedicate themselves to serving and protecting the community.

Aisah Medical Hospital, OPC, in cooperation with the Bureau of Fire Protection – Pagadian City Station, successfully conducted an important simulation exercise on March 5, 2026 entitled “Fire Safety Awareness Lecture and Fire Drill.” 🚒🔥

This activity aimed to strengthen fire safety awareness, preparedness, and proper emergency response among hospital personnel to ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Pagadian City Station for their guidance, expertise, and continued support in promoting a culture of safety and disaster preparedness.
