HAVE A BLESSED PALM SUNDAY
OF THE LORD’S PASSION 🌿

β€œBlessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” β€” Luke 19:38

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, a sacred time that leads us to the celebration of Easter Sunday. This day commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, where people welcomed Him by laying palm branches on the road and praising Him with joyful hearts.

The crowd cried out, β€œHosanna to the Son of David!” and honored Him as their King, hoping for salvation and deliverance.

Today, the tradition continues as palms are blessed and distributed during Mass. Many faithful weave them into crosses and keep them as a reminder of Christ’s victory and humility. These blessed palms are treated with reverence and are later burned to become ashes for the next year’s Ash Wednesday.

May this Palm Sunday inspire us to welcome Jesus into our lives with faith, humility, and love.
