The Data Quality Check (DQC) on OPT & FHSIS for RHU Paglat, conducted by UNICEF and the Ministry of Health on April 20–21, 2026 at the Training Center in Poblacion, Paglat, Maguindanao del Sur, was successfully completed.

A successful FREE Chest X-Ray (ACF) activity was conducted on April 20, 2025 at MSU Paglat Campus, led by RHU Paglat in collaboration with dedicated partners and stakeholders.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the hardworking BHWs and BNWs, and to the Ministry of Health BARMM for making this initiative possible. Your commitment to accessible healthcare truly makes a difference in our community.

On April 15, 2026 at exactly 4:50 PM, we joyfully welcomed a healthy baby boy weighing 2.6 kg at RHU Paglat Birthing Facility. 👶💙

This safe and successful delivery was made possible through the dedication and teamwork of the Wednesday Duty Team headed by Sittie Ahleed Litigan, RM, RN, together with Grace Tayantis, RM, Hafsah Ahmad, RM, and Chabilita Basilon, RM. Their commitment to providing quality maternal care ensures that both mother and child are in safe hands.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the LGU Paglat, especially Vice Mayor Sagandingan Gumonsang and Mayor Raisa Langkuno, RCrim, JD, for their continuous support and for providing cash incentives to both the patient and the hilot/walyan. Big thanks to our hardworking health team headed by Midwife Sarah K. Mamedped, RM and Nurse Merlissa Mangindra, RN for making this possible. 👩‍⚕️💪 And of course, to our supportive Brgy. Captain Hon. Akas Talusan, thank you for your unwavering support to our health programs!

Our dedicated RHU Paglat staff worked together to ensure the safe and sound delivery of a healthy baby boy. Through teamwork, skill, and compassion, we gave our very best for both mother and child.

After delivery, we provided Essential Intrapartum Newborn Care (EINC) and proper maternal care to ensure their well-being. Before discharge, we conducted health teachings for the mother, including the importance of the First 1000 Days of the baby, Family Planning, and Safe Motherhood.

We also extended our support by providing a cash incentive from the LGU, led by Vice Mayor Sagandingan Gumonsang and Mayor Raisa Pendatun Langkuno, for both the mother and baby. The hilot (walyan) also received support in recognition of their role in the community.

As part of our commitment to quality healthcare, Newborn Screening was performed to ensure the baby’s health and early detection of any possible conditions.

🌍 World TB Day 2026: RHU Paglat in Action!
"YES! WE CAN END TB!" ✊✨

Today, March 24, in observance of World TB Day, the RHU Paglat is officially conducting a municipality-wide TB Awareness and Prevention Campaign! We are bringing the fight against Tuberculosis directly to YOU by visiting all Barangay Health Stations (BHS) in Paglat.

🤔 What is TB (Tuberculosis)?

TB is a contagious disease caused by bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) that usually attacks the lungs. It spreads through the air when a person with active TB coughs, sneezes, or speaks.

Remember: TB is NOT a curse or a cause for shame—it is a medical condition that is PREVENTABLE and CURABLE! 💊✅

🚩 When should you visit your BHS?

If you or a loved one experiences:

A cough lasting 2 weeks or more

Unexplained weight loss

Night sweats or fever

Loss of appetite

Don't wait! Your health workers at the BHS are ready to help with information and early screening. Early detection saves lives and protects your family!
