As part of the LGU effort to maintain a Drug-Free Municipality, we remain committed to implementing programs, such as regular drug testing, to strengthen our advocacy. We uphold the belief that โa drug-free municipality is a progressive municipality.โ
On the 8th day of December, the Local Government Unit of Paglat, through its MADAC Focal Person Nasrullah Talusan, successfully conducted the 4th Quarter Drug Testing Program in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Paglat, the Provincial Health Office, and with the assistance of the Philippine National Police โ Paglat.
Participants included PWUDs, Municipal Employees, BADAC, MADAC Members, and other concerned individuals. The drug testing aims to ensure a safe and drug-free environment for all residents by strengthening the municipalityโs compliance with national anti-drug standards and supporting rehabilitation and monitoring efforts for individuals identified as users.
It also promotes public safety and a sense of community wellness through proactive, preventive measures, furthering Paglatโs goal of achieving and maintaining its drug-free status.
The Municipality of Paglat remains steadfast in its mission to uphold peace, order, and the well-being of its people.
