𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀

Celebrated annually on the first day of November, All Saints’ Day commemorates every Saint throughout the history of the Church. Known or unknown, each and every martyr’s legacy is given gratitude and acknowledgment for their role in shaping our community today.

This day can be cherished by simply attending Mass and taking time to pray with a Saint, or even exploring their background and contribution to the wholeness of our faith. Though not to be confused with All Souls Day, many families like to visit cemeteries to pray and remember their loved ones as well.

All Saints’ Day reminds us to honor everyone who devoted their lives to faith and service. Their courage and holiness continue to inspire us to live with compassion and devotion in our own spiritual journey. That said, let us all pray and welcome into our hearts the teachings of all who have attained heaven.

The LCC Waves proudly gives honor to LCC Biñan once again as the staffers received their awards in the awarding ceremony of the Individual Contests of the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025, held from October 11–12 at Pagkakaisa Elementary School.

With hard work, commitment, focus and passion, they were able to clinch eight 8 individual awards, one of which is an RSPC Qualifier.

Congratulations, dear staffers! The whole LCC Biñan community is proud of you! 🌊💙

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨!

Selected Junior High School and Senior High School students take over classroom duties as they act as teachers for a period of three days, last October 1–3, 2025.

The initiative helped the faculty members to enjoy their well-deserved break in the celebration of World Teachers’ Day.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

LCCians from the High School department gathered in the auditorium to celebrate National Literacy Month 2025 aiming to spread literacy for one and all guided by the theme “Promoting Literacy in the Digital Era”

Students and teachers wore their costumes of their favorite characters to school for the celebration bringing their anime, movie, book or game figures to life with their unique cosplays showing the creativity of LCCians.

The program featured, performances of the winners from the different contests held during the celebration.

In Grade 7, Maxim Dominique Villanueva won first place in the photo essay writing while Leila Sophia Cabrido won in the Poem Recital for Grade 8. Being the winner, she also performed the given piece “Words Beyond the Screen” wonderfully and emotionally live on stage. Moreover, Sabina Elise Balaba was heralded as the champion in the Editorial Cartooning of Grade 9.

For Grades 10-12, they had the Newscasting competition wherein Grade 11 took the first place and their winning video was showcased in the auditorium for all to see. They were then followed Grades 10 and 12 respectively.

Aside from the various activities, students from different grade levels whose costumes stood out were also awarded for the best dress. Furthermore, Ms. Shairalyn Pondal and Sir Jeremiah Dela Torre secured the best dressed award out of all the teachers, which was judged by the students by cheering on their favorite outfit.

“𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢/𝙎𝙞𝙧...”

A daily cup of coffee will never be equivalent to the hard work, tears, and late nights our teachers dedicated for their students. They took the time to guide us in every situation. Now, it is our turn to show our appreciation and gratitude for their efforts.

At some point, our teachers left a great impact in our lives—whether these are the memories made, the lessons taught, or simple conversations, today marks another time to celebrate the significance of their presence.

Appreciation isn’t always shown through grand gestures. Simple greetings, cards, or messages—although only takes a few seconds to do —can really get rid of the exhaustion from the long hours of work.

Fulfilling the role of being our second parents, it is undeniable that they are people who we can run to when we feel invalidated or misunderstood. So LCCians, let us make the most of this day to return the love and care our teachers show us every day. Leave a message below for your teachers this Teacher’s Day.
