𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙤 𝙥𝙖 𝙗𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙖𝘾𝙤? ✨️🎅

Exams are done, lights are glowing, and nonstop Christmas songs are everywhere—Christmas break is officially underway! The LCCBñ community ignites the sparkle of the Christmas spirit through "Pasko sa LaCo," featuring different performances presented with joy and enthusiasm.

As LCCians celebrate this Christmas party and welcome the start of Christmas break, talented students from Kinder to Grade 12 ardently showcased their skills in different forms of music—whether in singing, dancing, or playing instruments.

After the general party at the school gymnasium, the students proceeded to their respective classrooms for their homeroom Christmas party. The events of the day spread warmth, togetherness, and festive spirit that only a ✨️𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘓𝘢𝘊𝘰✨️ brings, creating a very Merry Christmas.

The LCC Waves proudly gives honor to LCC Biñan once again as the staffers received their awards in the awarding ceremony of the Group Contests of the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025, held from December 6 and 12 at Lake Shore Colleges and Pagkakaisa Elementary School.

With hard work, commitment, focus and passion, they were able to clinch two (2) group awards.

𝙤𝙣𝙚, 𝙩𝙬𝙤, 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚, 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙧, 𝙛𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙎𝙄𝙓-𝙎𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙉𝙉

Believe it or not, the word of the year is ironically a number. Whether you are in math class—counting digits one by one, it is inescapable to hear the term “67”. What is mostly numerical nonsense, swept through social media and the school hall ways.

The phrase was born from a rapper’s song—however its addicting energy led it to rapidly evolve into the humor of young individuals. Although such a repeated slang, there is no definite meaning for it and is intentionally set like that as an inside joke among the current generation. It is simple and leans to absurdity—yet it brought a huge cultural impact to the media as it sparked its growth through sheer repetition.

The core that makes this slang term notable was creativity and connection. It may lack a fixed definition, however that is solely what makes it funny to most. The phrase is applicable in almost every situation—so people became witty when using the slang. Whether it is mentioned in a game or your order number is 67, the inside joke created from an unclear meaning managed to get a lot of chuckles.

What appears to be absurd, created buzz in both the digital and real world. With a touch of creative application, the slang “67” appealed to many and despite it being nonsensical, the intention to grab a few chuckles remained clear.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬

Students from Elementary School dressed up as different saints, as a Trick-or-treat program after the First Friday Mass on November 7.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

A school-wide Fire and Earthquake drill was conducted on November 5 in the morning, amidst the examinations to ensure preparedness of everyone during calamities. While the alarm sounded, students were advised to follow standard safety precautions and proceeded to their designated evacuation areas.

𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

LCCBn community culminate the Family Living Rosary 2025 with the theme “Mary’s Joyful Fiat: Empowering Voices and Shaping Future” as they advocate for world peace and honor Mary as the mother of God, on November 5.

The program started with a processional conducted by the different students from the Knights of the Altar.

Afterwards, pupils from kindergarten offered flowers to the Virgin Mary while dressed up as little angels.

Following that is the core activity of the program, the praying of the Family Living Rosary. Wherein, selected students, parents, and personnel lighted candles for each bead while other selected students showed their talents in order to give praise to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Student performers from Prima Fusion performed an interpretative and Katniss Matic from Grade 6 carried out a declamation. Moreover, Augustinian Youth Ministry’s Agustinig sang as they re-enacted the night when Jesus was born.

To end the program, everyone was invited to dance a zumba with students from JHS to lead the steps.
