𝗟𝗖𝗖𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀

Earlier today, July 4, LCCians gathered in the school auditorium for the celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit as well as the First Friday Mass. Rev. Fr. Jose Francisco Teves, OSA led the mass to mark the start of a positive and fruitful school year.

𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠, 𝙇𝘾𝘾𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨!

The Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED) welcomed new and returning students, teachers, and personnel with a lively program earlier today at the school’s Auditorium.

The program started with warm greetings from the IBED Principal, Ms. Laria P. Doronila, followed by welcome messages from selected students, greeting the newly appointed Sister president— Sr. Maria A. Garcia, OSA.

After the greetings was the introduction of the school’s personnel, and a performance from the IBED faculty and the school’s Drum and Lyre band.

𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙇𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙖 𝘿𝙖𝙮!

Behind the famous Filipino literatures, “Noli Me Tangere” and “El Filibusterismo”, was the intellectual and patriotic mind of a medical doctor who specialized in Ophthalmology—Dr. Jose Rizal. Through his words, Rizal opened the eyes of his countrymen, and became one of the most inspiring and pivotal figures for us Filipinos.

Rizal joined the Propaganda Movement, advocated and nurtured for the peaceful reforms, equal rights, and Filipino representation in the Spanish Cortes, and was a contributor to the reformist tabloid, La Solidaridad, in spain. Because the Spanish authorities feared his influence, they deported him to Dapitan, Mindanao.

Rizal remained committed to serving the people, even while in exile. In his life in Dapitan, he treated patients for free, built a school and taught children, conducted research, and ameliorated local infrastructures.

Honoring Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero and the guiding light of Filipino pride, the province of Laguna marks this momentous day, June 19, when our hero first arrived.

𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙

After centuries of being chained by the Spaniards, the Philippine flag was proudly raised for the first time—on this very day, 127 years ago.

From struggling to break free from the cuffs of colonization, voiceless voices, we had obtained the peace our land had longed for 333 years. But that peace was not given freely—it was won through ink, blood, courage, and sacrifice by our patriotic writers, heroes, and the revolutionaries.

Honoring the bravery of those who rose against centuries of oppression—our patriotic writers, heroes, and revolutionaries, June 12 reminds us that freedom was earned with courage, unity, and the love of country. Mabuhay ang Kalayaan!
