In the recent wake of the 6.9 earthquake in Cebu and Typhoon Nando in the country, Fully Psych in partnership with GSOG - Resilience Training Center is opening FREE Online Psychological First Aid (PFA) sessions for survivors and their families.

Disasters can shake not only homes but also hearts. If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or lost, know that you don’t have to carry it alone. Our licensed psychologists and trained PFA responders are here to listen, support, and journey with you toward recovery.

October is mental health awareness month!

Napapanahon ngayon ang tema ng “World Mental Health Day” sa darating na ika-10 ng Oktubre: “Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.”

Pinapaalala na naman sa atin na ang nararanasan nating disaster ay gawa mismo ng tao. Sa sitwasyon natin sa Pinas, ito ay kagagawan ng mga ganid na tao na dahilan ng mga substandard flood control projects.

Kapag may korapsyon, tayong mga karaniwang mamamayan ang nagbabayad at nagdudusa. Malaki ang epekto ng korapsyon sa kalikasan at mental health natin. Ang matinding pagtaas ng tubig o baha, kawalan ng seguridad sa matitirhan sabayan pa ng kahirapan at iba pang problema ay pwedeng maging sanhi rin ng pagtaas ng takot, pagkabahala, pagkabalisa, at hindi maglaon pagkakaroon ng problema sa mental health. Mas "at risk" tayo sa mga ito dahil sa korapsyon.

Ang mga proyektong pampubliko ay hindi lang tungkol sa imprastraktura. Ito ay tungkol sa kaligtasan, at mental health din ng bawat Pilipino. Karapatan ng bawat isa ang magkaroon ng access sa kalusugang pangkaisipan. Karapatan natin na mabigyan tayo ng pananagutan mula sa pagiging iresponsable ng mga namumuno sa ating bansa! 💚
