PHARMACIST
The successful incumbent will manage the over-all pharmacy operation including but not limited to dispensing, purchasing, inventory, risk management, basic staff trainings, and provides a positive customer service experience.
The Pharmacist will walk customers through their physicians' dosage and usage instructions to ensure medications are safely and effectively consumed.
He/she will dispense prescription medication along with key information, such as side effects, contraindications with other medicines, and a range of other concerns.
The successful incumbent will be working closely together with the Company’s convenience store employees, creating a harmonious, efficient, and excellent customer service team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Dispensing or supervising the dispensation of medications and related supplies, according to physicians' prescriptions
• Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy
• Counseling patients regarding appropriate use of medications and educating them with drug information
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals (medical clinical partner) to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness
• Recommending drug therapy changes when appropriate
• Inventory/Stock Management –Managing accurate stocks and healthcare supplies in storage and display area.
• Purchasing Management Handling (daily, weekly and monthly ordering)
• Supplier’s Management – Coordinates with suppliers for stock ordering to support the store sales and service delivery
• Risk Management
• Handles cash register of pharmacy and medical clinic partner
• Ensuring the pharmacy complies with the FDA and local regulations
• Other admin and operational tasks required
What is expected:
• Pharmacy Graduate and must be a Registered Pharmacist
• Proven track record in similar role
• Prior working experience of at least 2 years in related industry
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills including ability to present to decision makers
• Ability to organize, establish, and implement strategic plans and objectives.
• Ability to analyze intangible and complex issues with multiple variables
• Passionate, outgoing personality, enjoys mingling with people and works well in a team.
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule in a dynamic working environment and with minimal supervision
