BOYS/ YOUNG MEN NEED THE HPV VACCINE TOO 😊💉

It’s true that HPV, a sexually transmitted virus, does cause the majority of cervical cancer cases in women. But it can also cause a variety of cancers in men, too, some of which are on the rise.

HPV vaccine protects against head and neck cancers as well as a**l cancer in both men and women. In men, it also protects against pe**le cancer, and in women, cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, and vulvar cancer.

From 2013 to 2017, there were approximately 25,000 cases of HPV-associated cancers in women and 19,000 in men, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. More than 4 out of every 10 cases of cancer caused by HPV are in men.
