Every year, for the past 7 years or more, I get to meet medical students when i deliver my lectures for the endocrine module. Every year gives me hope, optimism and joy as I get to interact with bright young minds who will soon become doctors. Always a humbling and rewarding experience.

April is my birth month. And since i recently celebrated my birthday, I decided to have myself checked to make sure I'm healthy. Before, most of us would have ourselves checked only when something's wrong. I'm glad that many people now are prioritizing preventive health care. Regular executive check ups offer a number of benefits --- detects potentially life threatening diseases early on giving you better chances of recovery when you're going through treatment, screens you for different diseases that would impact early treatment and manages complications from an existing condition.
I'd like to think of it as a nice birthday gift. 🙂🥰
