I dwell in peace, knowing God is here and God is good

Sometimes I search for God, though God is in my mind. Sometimes I wait for truth, though truth is in my heart. Sometimes I allow appearances to obscure the beauty of the world.

But not today. Today I know I need to do nothing and I need go nowhere, to experience God’s love. For wherever I am, closer than my breath is God Himself with His arms around me. I am safe and secure in knowing this. I am blessed by what is true.

May I not be tempted by the darkness of the world to think that God is gone, or lured by the thinking of the world to ever doubt love’s power. God is here, love is real, and I am safe. These things I know and will not forget. And so it is.

Amen

May my work become my ministry

I change the purpose of my work today from job to ministry. A job is merely an exchange of energy. While a ministry is the platform for my service to the world, it is the place from which I serve.

I am not on earth just to do a job. I am on Earth to fulfill the spiritual mission of becoming God's light and love on Earth. Whatever I do, I can do with an attitude of service. Whatever I do, I can do as a way to serve the world.

As I dedicate my work to higher purposes, it shall be used by God in his plan to heal the world.

Dear God,
I surrender my talents and abilities to the purposes of love.
May my work become my ministry.
May all I have and do be used by you.
Thus shall I experience the joy of knowing that what I do is for a higher cause than my mortal mind can even know.
Amen.

May everything that occurs today be a part of God‘s plan

Everything that happens is part of a mysterious curriculum that is designed for my personal growth. I will be drawn to situations that further my greater learning. May I be in every situation today a more perfect version of myself, so that I may learn through joy.

I am invited to play life at a higher level - to be strong where I have been weak, to be healed where I have acted from my wounds, to give love where before I have withheld it. On this day may I serve God’s Will for me and for all living things.

Dear God,
I surrender all that happens today,
May every encounter and every occurrence
Fulfill Your Will for everyone.
