When Clients ask, “Which is Better, Microblading, Machine Strokes or Ombre Powder Brows?”

Popular ways to make the brow area look fuller and more defined are microblading, machine strokes and ombre powder brows. All of which offer excellent results, but which is best depends on your skin type, lifestyle habits, and desired outcomes.

Maintenance Requirements:
Each method requires a different level of upkeep and maintenance for them to look their best. Microblading and Machine hairstrokes requires regular touchups every few months, while ombre powder brows may only need to be touched up once.

So when my clients are from abroad or are only here for a few days, my best recommendation is to go for the Bold Powder Ombre, which can yield good healed result in just 1 session.

How long do powder brows last? Ombre powder brows last for around 1 – 3 years. As with any permanent make up treatment, the time it lasts can depend on a number of factors, including skin type, your skincare routine and how well you followed the aftercare guidance.

If you like low-maintenance beauty routines, you might choose ombre powder because it lasts longer and needs less touching up than microblading. On the other hand, those who don't mind a bit of extra maintenance may prefer microblading as it offers more precise and realistic results.
