All the teams took on the challenge to make a more sustainable future and brought out the best quality business solutions for this year's ELITE Case Competition. It has been a challenging journey, and we thank all the participants who have devoted their time and effort in giving awareness and sharing their ideas to contribute to the community's circular economy.

We are happy to announce this year's ELITE winners! Congratulations and we are looking forward to the future ELITE Ambassadors!

Are you ready for ELITE 2019? Here are some reminders for ELITE Day 1:

1. Be on time. It would be best to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than the prescribed time. Registration starts at 8:00 AM.

2. Security is safety! Your names will be left with the guard at the gate. Don't forget to bring your ID's (valid/student ID) just let them know that you are here for ELITE For those with cars, parking will be available for you on campus.

3. Attire for ELITE Day 1 will be Smart Casual.

4. Food and drinks will be on us! So there will be no need to bring snacks, just bring your tumblers or water jugs if you want 🙂

5. Come with an open mind and be positive. There's no room for being shy! Use this opportunity to get to know your team, mentors and your co-participants.

"The first BAND-AID® Brand adhesive bandages were made by hand, measuring 3 inches wide and 18 inches long.

“They weren’t a big hit at first—only $3,000 worth were sold the first year—because people weren’t sure how to use them,” Gurowitz says. But sales increased after the company hired traveling salesmen to demonstrate the newfangled product to doctors, butchers and retail pharmacists."

Did you know that Johnson & Johnson created first aid kits?

"Aboard a train heading to Colorado for vacation, company founder Robert Wood Johnson struck up a conversation with the Denver & Rio Grande Railway’s chief surgeon. The doctor explained to Johnson the dangers of railroad construction and the lack of medical supplies to treat the unique industrial injuries that were often incurred great distances from hospitals. From this exchange, Johnson saw an opportunity to both advance the field of healthcare and build his young business. And from this modern need, the commercial First Aid Kit was born."
