We are looking for an Accounting/Office Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our accounts department. Accounts Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases, and reconciling invoices. Also perform clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, and fielding communications with clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, financial reports, etc.
· Handling communications with clients via phone, email, and in person.
· Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
· Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
· Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
· Create and update expense reports
· Maintain digital and physical financial records
· Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
· Participate in quarterly and annual audits
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· BSc or BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field or Associate’s degree in a related field with work experience.
· Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
· Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software and strong typing skills.
· Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
· Familiarity with finance regulations
· Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) will be a plus
· Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
· Fresh graduates also accepted
Timing: Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM
