Successful Medical Caravan at PUP Parañaque Campus

In line with the University’s commitment to promoting health and wellness, the PUP Parañaque Campus successfully conducted a Medical Caravan with Health Teaching yesterday.

We extend our profound gratitude to Dra. Yanes and her Medical services department team from PUP Main for their time, expertise and dedication in providing quality medical services to our campus community. Our heartfelt thanks also to our Campus Director Atty. Ernesto Salao for his guidance and continuous support in making this initiative possible. To our Campus Nurse Honeylee Magtibay and nurse Laura Labolera for their assistance and commitment throughout the activity, and to some of our S.E.R.T members Arjay, Alvinne and Orlando for their active participation and support during the event.

This meaningful activity truly reflects the spirit of service, collaboration and compassion that defines the PUP community. ❤️

Due to the increasing number of influenza (flu) cases, the PUP Paranaque Campus clinic reminds everyone to observe proper health practices to prevent spread of infection

FACE MASK USE
-wearing of face mask is not mandatory but strongly encouraged specially for those with cough, colds or fever.

-face masks are required inside the clinic for students and personnel with flu-like symptoms

-avoid close contact with individuals who are sick

HEALTHY REMINDERS

-wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitizer

-cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow when coughing or sneezing

-get adequate rest, eat nutritious food and stay hydrated

-if you have fever, cough or body aches please visit the clinic for assessment and advice.

JUST IN: Today, September 17, 2025 the Student Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T) joined the Sportfest 2025 of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Parañaque Campus, held at the Old San Dionisio Gym.

S.E.R.T and our campus nurses remains on standby, ready to respond promptly to any emergency or incident that may arise during the event.

The Dental Caravan was successfully conducted today providing free tooth extractions and fluoride application for our students.

We sincerely thank our partner dentists, the campus nurses, the Student Emergency Response Team (SERT) and our Campus Director Atty. Ernesto Salao for their invaluable support and contribution to the success of this activity.
