Ihanda ang inyong mga anak para sa Bakuna Eskwela! ๐Ÿคฒ

Ito ay programa ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan sa pakikipagtulungan sa Kagawaran ng Edukasyon, na layuning protektahan ang mga kabataan laban sa mga sakit na maaaring iwasan sa pamamagitan ng bakuna tulad ng Measles, Rubella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, at Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

Ngayong Oktubre, pabakunahan na ang inyong mga anak sa mga public elementary schools.. Pirmahan na ang consent form para sila ay mapa-bakunahan!

Nasa 260 na ang ka*o ng rabies sa bansa mula January hanggang September 20, 2025. Nasa 95% ng mga ka*ong ito ay kinasasangkutan ng mga hayop na hindi bakunado o may unknown vaccination status.

Paalala ng DOH na pabakunahan taun-taon ang inyong alaga bilang proteksyon ng inyong alaga at ng inyong sarili laban sa rabies virus.

Ilan pa sa paalala ng DOH:
โœ… Irehistro ang mga a*o at pusa sa inyong barangay.
โœ… โ€™Wag hayaang gumala nang walang bantay ang mga alaga.

As part of its continuing effort to combat malnutrition and promote safe motherhood, the Rural Health Unit of Parang, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and IPHO Maguindanao, distributed food packs to identified pregnant women with Low Body Mass Index (BMI) during their first trimester.

๐Ÿ’ก Proper nutrition during pregnancy is vitalโ€”it protects mothers from complications and helps babies grow healthy and strong. Malnutrition can lead to anemia, preterm delivery, and low birth weight. Thatโ€™s why prenatal check-ups and balanced nutrition are very important from pregnancy until childbirth.

Output:

โœ”๏ธImproved nutritional status of pregnant women with low BMI.

โœ”๏ธIncreased awareness and practice of healthy eating during pregnancy.

โœ”๏ธSafer pregnancies and healthier newborns.

The RHU of Parang strongly believes that a healthy baby begins with a healthy pregnancy. With this, RHU remains committed to delivering quality maternal and child health services, promoting prenatal care, and ensuring access to proper nutrition from pregnancy until childbirth.

The Rural Health Unit of Parang recently conducted Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) and Breast Self-Examination (BSE) for our very own RHU staff (All Nurses and Midwives). ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ

This initiative aims to promote awareness, encourage early detection, and equip our health team with the right knowledge and experience to champion cervical and breast cancer prevention in the community. ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’œ

The Rural Health Unit of Parang, in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Poblacion I, joined hands in celebrating Senior Aid Day, a special event dedicated to the health and well-being of our beloved senior citizens.

โœ… Eye screening was conducted, followed by the distribution of free eyeglasses to elders in need. Proper referrals were also made for those requiring further medical management.
โœ… Random Blood Sugar testing and screening for hypertension and diabetes were also carried out to ensure a more comprehensive health check for the participants.

This activity stands as a testament to the strong collaboration between BLGU Poblacion I and RHU Parang, reflecting their unwavering commitment to provide quality health services and genuine care for our seniors. โค๏ธ

During the Amir Bara Lidasan National High School Intramurals 2025, our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) served as standby medics, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธโšฝ

They were joined by the Rescue Team from the Barangay Local Government Unit of Sarmiento, proudly represented by SK Chairman Kenneth Tristan Pobre. ๐Ÿ‘

This collaboration highlights the strong partnership between the community, local government, and health workers in promoting not only sportsmanship but also the health and safety of our youth.
