According to the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU) of the Ministry of Health – BARMM:

🦠 23 Suspected Cases
🧪 8 Confirmed Cases
🔎 8 Probable Cases

MPOX is a communicable disease but is preventable with proper hygiene and safety measures.

🛡️ Protect Yourself and Others:

✔️ Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing
✔️ Ensure proper ventilation
✔️ Wash hands regularly with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
✔️ Avoid close contact with individuals showing symptoms of MPOX

⚠️ Watch for Symptoms:

1️⃣ Skin rash or lesions with fever
2️⃣ Swollen lymph nodes, sore throat
3️⃣ Muscle aches, back pain
4️⃣ Headache, low energy
