Participation of Iranon District Hospital in the One HIV, AIDS, and STI Information System (OHASIS) 2.0 Rollout Training
Iranon District Hospital expresses its sincere gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the One HIV, AIDS, and STI Information System (OHASIS) 2.0 Rollout Training, conducted by the Ministry of Health – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) through the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU).
The training session was held at the Bangsamoro Regional and Medical Center on October 15-16, 2025. The primary aim of this activity was to strengthen the capacity of our healthcare facilities in effectively utilizing the OHASIS 2.0 platform, thereby enabling improved data management, reporting, and coordination for HIV, AIDS, and STI programs.
Representatives from the HIV/AIDS core team at Iranon District Hospital included Ms. Naira Madag, RN, and Ms. Bai Nadzma Aliuden, RMT.
The training was facilitated by a dedicated team from MOH-BARMM, composed of Mr. Shervin Lim, Data Analyst; Ms. Sheryl M. Mendez, Nurse II and HIV Surveillance Officer; and Ms. Bai Princess Baraguir, STI/HIV-AIDS Regional Program Coordinator.
This capacity-building activity was made possible through the guidance and leadership of Dr. Harris D. Macapeges, Chief of Hospital II, whose support continues to inspire our commitment to improving health outcomes. We are confident that the knowledge and skills gained from this training will significantly enhance our efforts in HIV, AIDS, and STI prevention and control within our community.
