| Josenians who are enrolled in the CWTS and ROTC programs are advised to report as crowd control volunteers during the solemn foot procession on January 20, 2024.
Here are some reminders relayed by the Civic Welfare Training Service focal:
Assemble at the assigned section of the procession route at exactly 11:00 AM on 20 January 2024. Please refer to the attached sketch.
Come to school early because a rerouting of PUJs will be implemented by CCTO Personnel as early as 10:00 AM in preparation of the Solemn Procession of the Miraculous Image of Sr. Sto. Niño.
Bring caps to cover your head from the intense heat of the sun. (note: umbrella is not allowed)
Take an early lunch before going to your respective assembly areas and bring bottled water, candies, etc. for your own consumption since you cannot anymore leave your post until the end of the activity except for emergency cases.
Observe maximum tolerance when dealing with difficult people. Always use kind words when talking or giving out instructions to people.
You may speak in LOUD and FIRM voice but avoid barking and shouting at anyone.
If there are devotees holding lighted candles, advise them to move away from people carrying balloons to avoid any untoward incident.
Free your both hands from any loads so that you can hold the rope in front of you.
From time to time, remind the devotees to be careful with pickpockets.
Do not wear jewelries or bring valuable items which may attract or call the attention of the criminal elements of our society.
Conduct yourselves well at all times in your post. Avoid making boisterous laughters or doing anything that attracts people's attention.
No one should break the lines unless being told by the person in charge.
Be reminded of the guidelines that constitute and legitimize your ATTENDANCE in this activity.
For those who have health problems, pls. see Mr Hermoso at SSD Office Main Campus during office hours on or before 19 January 2024 and bring medical certificate as proof of your sickness/illness for the issuance of special assignments.
