“ 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 2025 : 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗮𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 ” 🦺⛑️

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2025, the 𝖪𝖭𝖧𝖲 𝖡𝖺𝗍𝖺𝗇𝗀 𝖤𝗆𝗉𝗈𝗐𝖾𝗋𝖾𝖽 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖱𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗅𝗂𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝖳𝖾𝖺𝗆 (𝖡𝖤𝖱𝖳) facilitated an informative seminar last July 31, 2025 at the KNHS Animation Laboratory.

Opening remarks was lead by the 𝘒𝘕𝘏𝘚 𝘉𝘌𝘙𝘛 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝑨𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒂. In her speech, emphasized the importance of youth involvement in building community resilience. 🏠 𝑴𝒓. 𝑹𝒆𝒚𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒅𝒐 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒐𝒗𝒂, 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘙𝘪𝘴𝘬 𝘙𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘧 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 (𝘚𝘋𝘙𝘙𝘔𝘊), followed with an inspiring message on proactive disaster mitigation. 🤝

During the seminar’s main discussion, 𝘉𝘌𝘙𝘛 𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘳, 𝑴𝒓. 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝑨𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂 outlined critical strategies for disaster preparedness, focusing on systematic planning, risk assessment, and effective response protocols for a range of potential crises. His session aimed to equip participants with applicable knowledge to address challenges during calamities. 🚨

The seminar concluded with closing remarks from 𝘉𝘌𝘙𝘛 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘵. 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒃𝒖𝒚𝒆𝒏, who reinforced the value of collaboration and sustained preparedness efforts. 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐜 and 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐫. skillfully guided the event as emcees. 🎤

The event brought together student leaders from key organizations, including the 𝖪𝖭𝖧𝖲 𝖲𝗎𝗉𝗋𝖾𝗆𝖾 𝖲𝖾𝖼𝗈𝗇𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗒 𝖫𝖾𝖺𝗋𝗇𝖾𝗋 𝖦𝗈𝗏𝖾𝗋𝗇𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 (𝖲𝖲𝖫𝖦), 𝖪𝖭𝖧𝖲 𝖦𝗂𝗋𝗅 𝖲𝖼𝗈𝗎𝗍 𝗈𝖿 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖯𝗁𝗂𝗅𝗂𝗉𝗉𝗂𝗇𝖾𝗌 (𝖦𝖲𝖯), 𝖪𝖭𝖧𝖲 𝖡𝗈𝗒 𝖲𝖼𝗈𝗎𝗍 𝗈𝖿 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖯𝗁𝗂𝗅𝗂𝗉𝗉𝗂𝗇𝖾𝗌 (𝖡𝖲𝖯), 𝖪𝖭𝖧𝖲 𝖱𝖾𝖽 𝖢𝗋𝗈𝗌𝗌 𝖸𝗈𝗎𝗍𝗁 (𝖱𝖢𝖸), and the 𝖪𝖭𝖧𝖲 𝖸𝗈𝗎𝗍𝗁 𝖿𝗈𝗋 𝖤𝗇𝗏𝗂𝗋𝗈𝗇𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝗂𝗇 𝖲𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗅𝗌 𝖮𝗋𝗀𝖺𝗇𝗂𝗓𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇. 🙌

𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 17, 2025, The 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 and 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 (𝘽𝙀𝙍𝙏) conducted a 𝑪𝑷𝑹 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 under the 𝒁𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒔 2025 with the 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 and 𝑶𝒔𝒉𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉 𝑶𝒄𝒄𝒖𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍, 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚 and 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚, Inc. This training was led by 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐯𝐚 and the 𝐒𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦.

35 𝗒𝖾𝖺𝗋𝗌 𝖺𝗀𝗈, July 16, 1990. Over 1,200 people 𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑑 after a 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 7.8 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 hit 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 and 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒖𝒛𝒐𝒏 on July 16, 1990. Called the “𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙠𝙚,” the shaking lasted for 45 seconds, affecting six provinces, it left P10 billion in damage, injured and displaced thousand of people.

Ang sakuna ay dumarating nang hindi inaasahan — kaya’t ang kahandaan ay hindi dapat ipinagpapaliban. Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Katatagan, muling pinapaalala sa atin ang kahalagahan ng pagiging alerto, may alam, at may pakialam. ✊

Ang matatag na komunidad ay hindi lamang binubuo ng matitibay na gusali, kundi ng mamamayang may disiplina, malasakit, at kaalaman sa tamang paghahanda Sa bawat hakbang ng paghahanda, mas pinapalakas natin ang ating kakayahang harapin ang anumang pagsubok.

Ngayong buwan, sama-sama tayong kumilos. Magsanay, magturo, matuto. Dahil ang pagiging handa ay responsibilidad ng lahat.🌍✨
