The UP–PGH Division of Pulmonary Medicine is now accepting applications for its Adult Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship for 2026–2027.🫁

At UP–PGH, fellows are trained in a culture of excellence, developing strong clinical skills, research capability, and a commitment to compassionate patient care and service.

The program provides hands-on experience in managing complex respiratory diseases and procedures, guided by experienced mentors, while giving fellows the opportunity to contribute to the growth of pulmonary medicine in the country.

The University of the Philippines Manila–Philippine General Hospital recently convened a two-day Climate and Health Medicine Strategic Planning Meeting on March 17–18, 2026, at the Vicente Tiu Lim Auditorium, Henry Sy Medical Sciences Building.

Organized in collaboration with the American International Health Alliance and the Department of Medicine, the workshop gathered university leaders, faculty, curriculum developers, and climate-health experts to develop a strategic roadmap for integrating climate and health into medical, nursing, and public health education.

Through a series of lectures, case discussions, and small group activities—guided by global best practices—the initiative aims to establish a comprehensive curriculum from undergraduate to postgraduate levels, preparing future healthcare professionals to address the growing impacts of climate change on health.
