World of Silence: Deafying the Odds

In this bustling world, people rely on communication and use different mediums to connect with each other, however, the deaf-mute or hard of hearing community is sometimes overlooked. By learning how they communicate, even the basic ones, promotes a better understanding of the unheard voices of the deaf-mute community. An initiative to learn their language is a movement to show that language has no barriers and everyone is welcome in the society regardless of their abilities. Society becomes richer and more vibrant as more people become aware of the unique needs of their community.
