Patuloy ang pagtaas ng naitatalang kaso ng HIV sa bansa, batay sa pinakahuling surveillance report ng DOH.

Base sa ulat para sa 4th quarter ng 2025, umaabot na sa tinatayang 252,800 ang mga People Living with HIV sa Pilipinas.

Sa bilang na ito, mahigit 153K na ang na-diagnose habang higit 100K naman ang kasalukuyang tumatanggap ng antiretroviral therapy (ART).

Sa datos mula Oktubre hanggang Disyembre 2025, 4,277 bagong kaso ng HIV ang naitala sa bansa o katumbas ng nasa 47 kaso kada araw.

Ipinakikita rin sa ulat na ang sexual contact pa rin ang pangunahing paraan ng pagkalat ng HIV sa bansa na bumubuo sa malaking porsyento ng mga bagong kaso.
