💉REVISION FROM FILLERS AND THREADS

Procedure: Tiplasty using ear cartilage, tip defatting, alar lift and trim.

👩🏻Patient did not want a foreign implant and will be leaving for a different country after 3 weeks. To minimize risk of complications, we settled on tiplasty using ear cartilage graft for a better tip shape versus silicone implant.

Congratulations to The Medical City’s Ear, Nose, Throat - Head & Neck Institute for a great workshop on Ultrasound Guided Biopsy in the Head & Neck💙

For small nodules, deep masses, or nodules beside sensitive blood vessels or nerves, the ultrasound increases accuracy, safety and sensitivity up to 98-100%.

Ultrasound guidance also decreases the need to create unnecessary incisions (cuts) to the patient while improving specimen collection and diagnosis.

In Head & Neck surgery, this is especially useful for the thyroid, parotid, and other neck masses.
