Under R.A. 12062, authored by Cong. Roman Romulo, matic na "special non-working holiday" na ang July 2, Araw ng Pasig, tuwing taon. Hindi na tayo susulat taon-taon para makakuha ng Presidential Proclamation.

Congratulations sa lahat ng Pasigueño! Di na tayo mag-aabang ng announcement tuwing June 30/July 1! 😅

TRIVIA: Alam niyo ba na ang kauna-unahang Presidential Proclamation ni President BBM (July 1, 2022) ay ang pagdeklara ng July 2, 2022 bilang "special non-working holiday" sa Pasig? Kinabahan tayo nun dahil nasa transition period sila, June 30 ang umpisa ng bagong term at baka di umabot.

𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗛𝗜𝗩, 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗼𝘃’𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀

All government agencies should establish and implement their respective Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV and AIDS) workplace policies.

This was directed yesterday by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) as it issued the Enhanced Guidelines in the Implementation of Workplace Policy and Education Program on HIV and AIDS in the Public Sector through CSC Resolution No. 2500398 promulgated on 23 May 2025.

The guidelines prescribe measures which agencies may undertake such as education and awareness-raising on HIV and AIDS, provision of support and/or access to information on HIV and AIDS-related services, promotion of a safe work environment through occupational health and safety standards and fostering confidentiality and non-discriminatory practices against persons living with HIV and AIDS.
