Ang acid reflux ay nangyayari kapag ang laman ng tiyan ay umangat at dumaloy sa esophagus. Kapag nangyari ito, maaaring malasahan ang pagkain o stomach acid sa lalamunan.

Ano ang mga sintomas ng Acid Reflux?

Heartburn ang tawag sa karaniwang sintomas ng Acid Reflux. Kahit wala itong kinalaman sa puso, nakuha nito ang pangalan dahil sa burning sensation nito sa dibdib. Lumalala ang sakit kapag nakayuko, nakahiga, at pagkatapos kumain.Ang sumusunod ay ang iba pang sintomas ng acid reflux:
👉Maasim na panlasa
👉Pananakit ng lalamunan
👉Tuloy-tuloy na paglunok o pagdighay
👉 Bloated o pakiramdam na puno ang tiyan
👉 Nausea at pagsusuka
👉Chest pain

Anu-ano ang mga sanhi ng Acid Reflux?

Nangyayari ang Acid Reflux kapag ang muscle nagco-connect sa esophagus at sa tiyan o ang lower esophageal sphincter (LES) ay mahina. Kapag hindi mahigpit ang pagkasara ng LES ay maaaring umangat ang laman ng tiyan. Doon nanggaling ang sakit na nararamdaman.

Karaniwang gumagaling ng kusa ang Acid Reflux. Pero kapag hindi na gumana ang over the counter medication o lagpas dalawang beses na ito sa isang linggo mabuting magpatingin na sa doctor.
Kadalasan ay sapat na indicator ang heartburn para madiagnose ang acid reflux. Pero para sa iba o mas malubhang kasi may ibang tests na pwede gawin tulad ng endoscopy at pH monitoring.
