Alamin: Folliculocentric Infections (Mga Impeksyon sa Balat na nagsisimula sa Balahibo o Hair Follicle)

Alam niyo ba na may mga impeksyon sa balat na nagsisimula mismo sa butas ng buhok o hair follicle? Ito ang tinatawag na folliculocentric infections. Depende sa lalim at sanhi ng impeksyon, maaari itong magpakita bilang:�
Folliculitis – parang maliliit na pulang butlig na makati o masakit�
Furuncles (pigsa) – mas malalim na pamamaga, puno ng nana
Carbuncles – mas malalaki at masakit na grupo ng pigsa

Paano ito ginagamot?�Ang treatment ay depende kung gaano kalalim at kalala ang impeksyon. Minsan sapat na ang topical na gamot (pahid). Pero kung malala, kailangan na ng iniinom na antibiotics. Mahalaga rin na sundin ang payo ng doktor dahil maaaring palitan ang antibiotic base sa resulta ng laboratory tests.

Ang eczema ay isang kondisyon sa balat na maaaring magdulot ng matinding pangangati, pamumula, at panunuyo. Bukod sa hindi komportable, maaari rin itong makaapekto sa pang-araw-araw na gawain at maging sanhi ng pagkabalisa o hiya sa pakikisalamuha.
