Thank you for your kind words! It’s our pleasure to be of service 😊
👩⚕️WHEN YOUR CLASSMATE BECOMES YOUR PHYSICIAN🩺
Took time to visit my ENT Dr. Argelyn to get relief from a bothersome cough. Dr. Arge was also my high school classmate (we've been batchmates since elementary), and I still feel tickled to think about how she's now my doctor. I've always known her to be super smart, and that is a great comfort to have as a patient.
I am especially grateful for her treating me during the pandemic for a freak ear infection that led to one thing and then another, ending in an inpatient stay on my 37th birthday (that is another story I'll save for a different post).
My kids have also been treated by other high school classmates in the medical field. Dr. Tart actually caught baby Diko when I gave birth to him, and gave my kids their pending vaccines during a home visit in the thick of the pandemic. Dr. Sarah and Dr. Chelle have treated my elder sons (when they were still sickly preschoolers) as emergency room residents.
Meeting your high-school classmates this way eases the stress a bit that normally comes with a doctor's visit because they are instant reunions. :) Nerves calm much when you see a familiar face in the hospital. I also appreciate the fact that I can show my kids that being a doctor is one of the many paths they can choose in life.
To schedule an appointment with Doc Arge for ENT concerns, do send a message to Scelto Medico! It's a great clinic with impeccable service as well.
