𝐈.𝐌. 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

In celebration of the World TB Day last March 26, 2025, RizalMed - TB DOTS held a Lay Forum at our Outpatient Department. A lecture titled “TB sa Labas ng Baga" was given by Dr. Charles Kevin Rivera, an Infectious Disease Specialist, shedding light on the extrapulmonary forms of tuberculosis.

The program was headed by Dr. Gerard Tristan De La Cuesta, Chair of the RizalMed Tuberculosis-Integrated Directly Observed Treatment Strategy (TB iDOTS), Ms. Bannie Gaborno, NTP Nurse Coordinator of OPD-TB DOTS, and two IM residents, Dr. Jazwyn Butuyan, Pulmonologoy Rotator, and Dr. Sofia Libunao, IDS Rotator.

Let us all spread awareness and fight TB together!
