The Academics Council is the academic arm of the ASMPH Student Council that is in charge of ensuring the academic welfare of ASMPH students. It aims to foster academic excellence among the students in fulfillment of the school’s vision of producing future doctors who are outstanding clinicians, dynamic leaders, and social catalysts.

Why Join CMC? Because we believe that Faith is not private and not practiced only on Sundays. Faith is not separate from our practice of medicine. Faith is not just making alay in an exam we barely studied for.

For us, Faith is shared in public and with a community of faithful. Faith allows medicine to reach beyond merely eradicating the disease. Faith sees best in the dark.

The life of faith is a joyful one, more beautiful than anything the world can offer. Not because it abandons certainty, but rather, because it is the foundation of any kind of certainty. The physician knows this well, for he is called to cooperate with Life, the source of healing and illness. “There is a time when success lies in the hands of physicians, for they too will pray to the Lord that he should grant them success in diagnosis and in healing, for the sake of preserving life.” – Sirach 38:13-14

Founded on the concern for the campus cats, it strives to extend the care and compassion we provide to our patients as future medical practitioners to also include stray animals.
