While engraftment brings relief, this period remains a risk time for infections and other complications.

Last night, JR had unexplained fever and diarrhea which according to his doctor an engraftment syndrome kaya close monitoring padin ang kailangan.

Ngayon lang din naglalagas ang buhok ni JR na sabi nya “ok lang kasi pogi padin ako” 😅

Grateful beyond words — JR Kaelo has reached Engraftment! 🙏

Engraftment, an important milestone in JR’s BMT journey, means the new cells are starting to grow and do their job.

Our deepest thanks to the amazing doctors and nurses of TMC Pasig City, whose skill and compassion became instruments of healing. We are also grateful to everyone who prayed for JR and supported our family — financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Your love carried us through this journey.

One day at a time, one blessing at a time.

Day -7

Today is JR Kaelo’s final preparation day before his conditioning regimen. His IJ catheter has been transferred, and everything is now set and ready for the series of chemotherapy and radiation leading to Day 0 — his transplant day. This is a crucial stage, so he will be closely monitored in the coming days.

Today is also the first day and Day -7 for Daddy Evren, as he begins his own preparations for his procedure.

We may not be able to give immediate updates because both of them require close monitoring, but please know how grateful we are for your concern and support.

We humbly ask again for your continued prayers for JR Kaelo and Daddy Evren, for all their doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and everyone supporting them, that everything will go well and be successful.

Nakatulog agad si JR after maibigay ang pre-meds nya. Four (4) bottles (100ml each) ang iinfuse kay JR na IVIG today.
