From August 11 to 15, our chief medical technologist, Ma Jelyn Cyril Paciencia, completed the HIV counseling and testing training organized by the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists Inc in Tuguegarao City, further enhancing her expertise to strengthen our HIV diagnostic and counseling services.

We go beyond by delivering timely, life-saving care when every second counts. Just recently, one of our dedicated physicians performed an emergency surgical debridement on a patient battling a severe skin and soft tissue infection, complicated by signs of compartment syndrome. With quick intervention, the infected tissue was carefully removed to relieve pressure, halt the spread of infection, and ultimately save the patient’s limb. This is the kind of expert, compassionate care we’re proud to offer—right here in the heart of Pastrana.

Over the weekend, in the villages of Bliss Sagkahan and Calanipawan, we turned over health assessment tools to our dedicated community health workers to support more accurate and consistent monitoring of the health conditions within their respective populations.

This effort is part of our growing partnership with the city government to make healthcare more accessible at the grassroots level, as we prepare to roll out services within Tacloban City.

Yesterday, at the Diit District Health Center, we distributed health assessment tools to community health workers serving Tacloban City. These tools are intended to improve the accuracy and consistency of health assessments and risk profiling in the following barangays: Palanog (12 and 37-A), Bagacay, Tigbao, Basper, Diit, San Roque, Paglaum, and Salvacion.

This effort strengthens our commitment to evidence-based community health practices and supports the effective delivery of healthcare services under our ongoing operations in these areas.
