Salin PH has been selected as an official participant in the Innovate2PREVENT program! 🎉 This prestigious initiative brings together 10 global innovators to develop cutting-edge, circular business solutions aimed at reducing waste and promoting sustainability.

As the only participant from the Philippines, we’re excited to contribute to the global effort to create innovative, data-driven approaches to solve the plastic problem. Innovate2PREVENT focuses on three key tracks: extending product life, reducing single-use plastics, and integrating digital innovations to drive a circular economy.

Through this program, we’ll engage in peer learning, capacity building, innovation bootcamps, and masterclasses that will empower us to make an even greater impact on reducing packaging waste and championing reuse and refill solutions. 🌍♻️

🌱 Last week, the Circular Campus Programme incubation teams had the chance to meet Krishia Pauline Ellis(Co-Founder & CEO of Salin PH), who talked to them about her social enterprise start up journey and in particular her focus on deeply understanding the problem that Salin PH are trying to solve, including the stakeholders, customers and the systems of plastic waste in the Philippines. She also candidly shared her advice for self-care and managing mental health as an entrepreneur.

Salin Swap by Salin PH aims to reduce the packaging waste generated by Filipino households and communities by offering their go-to brands in reusable containers.

It was great to have Krishia give the teams insights and advice on our innovation pillars: investment readiness and partnerships & networking.
