Nakikiisa ang Patnanungan Primary Care Facility sa pagdiriwang ng International Condom Day!

Nagdiscuss tungkol sa kahalagahan ng condom ang ating Family Planning Coordinator na si Midwife Babylene, kasama ang Assistant FP Coordinator na si Nurse Jep, upang ipaalala ang tamang paggamit at ang benepisyo nito:

✔️ Maiwasan ang unplanned pregnancy
✔️ Makaiwas sa sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
✔️ Maipakita ang respeto at responsibilidad sa sarili at sa partner

Ipinapaalam po namin na may dumating na anti-rabies vaccine kahapon mula sa Sub-Provincial Health Group 1: Polillo Group of Islands, na binubuo ng mga miyembrong kinabibilangan nina ating butihing Mayora, Hon. Mayor Claire Larita-Natividad; SB on Health Arman Malabunga; OIC-MHO; Municipal Accountant; Budget Officer; PHN at Municipal Treasurer.

Ito po ay initiative ng ating samahan at inaasahang magiging LIBRE para sa mga mamamayang nangangailangan.

❗️Paalaala:
Ang supply po ng anti-rabies vaccine ay LIMITADO lamang. Patuloy po ang ating ginagawang hakbang upang matiyak ang sapat at tuloy-tuloy na suplay ng bakuna para sa ating mamamayan.

3rd Quarter Interlocal Health Zone Meeting of the Polillo Group of Islands

Last September 22–23, 2025, the Municipality of Patnanungan, under the leadership of our hardworking Mayor Marie Claire A. Larita-Natividad, proudly hosted the 3rd Quarter Interlocal Health Zone (ILHZ) Meeting of the Polillo Group of Islands.

The meeting brought together our Municipal Mayors, SB on Health, Budget Officers, Accountants, Treasurers, Municipal Health Officers, Doctors to the Barrios, Public Health Nurses, Chiefs of Hospital, Head Nurse, and Administrative Officers from QPHN-Polillo. Also present were Ms. Eileen F. Rutaquio, RMT, and Mr. Lawrence Ryan Daug, both DMO IV from PDOHO-Quezon.

We were likewise honored by the presence of our special guests: Dr. Lorelie G. Salonga (Provincial Health Officer I), Mr. Jonathan Alim (Chief Social Insurance Officer), Mr. Ryan Olitoquit, medical students from the UP College of Medicine, and Sir Armiel Azure from Rhudarda.

Key agenda included:
1. 2025 Health Status of the Polillo Group of Islands
2. PhilHealth Yakap Program

The following resolutions were adopted:
✅ Strengthening and supporting ILHZ 1 with the Quezon Provincial Hospital Network–Polillo and Claro M. Recto Memorial District Hospital for the implementation of PhilHealth Yakap Claims
✅ Updating the annual financial contributions of the municipalities of ILHZ 1
✅ Adopting the Quezon Provincial-Wide Health System and recognizing Sub-Provincial Health System 1 composed of the Polillo Group of Islands
✅ Approving the Work and Financial Plan for Calendar Year 2025
✅ Approving the reorganization and conduct of elections for Sub-Provincial Health System 1

This meeting also marked a significant milestone: the ILHZ group will now be known as Sub-Provincial Health System 1, with Mayor Gina P. Gonzales of Burdeos elected as its new Chairperson.

We are proud to share that Patnanungan has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Municipalities in Quezon Province for the implementation of the Family Planning Program! 🏆

This achievement is made possible through the support of our Municipal Mayor Marie Claire A. Larita-Natividad and LGU Patnanungan, RHU staff, OIC-MHO/DTTB, nurses, midwives, our Family Planning Program Coordinator Babylene Peñamante, and our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs).

Patnanungan Blood Donation Drive – Success!

We are truly grateful to everyone who became part of the recently concluded Blood Donation Drive here in Patnanungan. ❤️

With the support of Mayor Claire A. Larita-Natividad and LGU Patnanungan, Rural Health Unit with Dr. Jomari T. Dioquino and our Blood Program Coordinator, Gemuel Carl P. Nava, RMT, together with our dedicated RHU staff, MDRRMO headed by Sir Rhoniel Pamatian, and with the invaluable support of DOH CHD CALABARZON – Project Isla led by Ma’am Myla Velgado, our DMO, Ma’am Eileen Rutaquio, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, and the Philippine Medical Association – Quezon Medical Society, we successfully collected 71 bags of blood – for the second time around!

Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nagbigay ng oras, suporta, at higit sa lahat sa ating mga donors na naging bayani ng buhay. Ang inyong malasakit ay nagbibigay ng pag-asa at panibagong lakas sa ating mga kapwa nangangailangan.

Bukas po, September 8, 2025, ay walang regular na konsultasyon sa RHU sapagkat magkakaroon po tayo ng programang Blood Donation Activity 🩸 sa Patnanungan Sports Complex.

Inaanyayahan po namin ang lahat na makiisa at makidalo sa gawaing ito na makapagliligtas ng buhay.

Tanging emergencies lamang po muna ang tatanggapin bukas sa RHU.

Marami pa rin ang naniniwala sa mga haka-haka tungkol sa blood donation. Ngunit ang katotohanan: ligtas ito, simple lamang, at higit sa lahat—nakapagliligtas ng buhay.

Inaanyayahan po namin ang lahat na makiisa sa ating Blood Donation Activity bukas, September 8, sa Patnanungan Sports Complex mula 7:00 AM hanggang 1:00 PM.
