“SAPAGKAT GANITO KAMAHAL NG DIYOS ANG SANLIBUTAN: IBINIGAY NIYA ANG KANYANG BUGTONG NA ANAK.” – Juan 3:16

Breaking Barriers: DOH TRC Bataan Residents Take the Leap Toward a Brighter Future

PILAR, BATAAN - Today, DOH Treatment and Rehabilitation Center - Bataan became more than a place of healing, it became a gateway to new beginnings. Thirty-four determined learners from the Residential and Aftercare Program took a bold step forward as they sat for the SY 2025–2026 Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test.

The examination was monitored by the Department of Education Bataan, led by School Principal III Mr. Joseph Ralph C. Dizon, Master Teacher I Mr. Michael M. Malibiran, and Teachers III Ms. Josephine L. Mosquida and Mr. Michael O. Narvasa.

The DOH TRC Bataan also extends its sincere appreciation to Pilar Mayor, Hon. Carlos F. Pizarro, for generously sponsoring the lunch for the ALS takers, an act of support that further uplifted and encouraged the learners on this important day.

With eight candidates striving for Elementary certification and twenty-six aiming to earn their Junior High School diplomas, these learners embody resilience and the belief that recovery and education go hand in hand. By bringing the testing center directly to the facility, DOH TRC Bataan and DepEd reaffirm their commitment to inclusive education, ensuring that no learner is left behind on the path to a brighter future.
