Is that a kick or just… lunch? 🦋

Those first few movements are some of the most exciting milestones of pregnancy! Whether it feels like tiny butterflies or a rhythmic "hiccup" twitch, every movement tells a story about how your baby is growing.

Fluttering: Usually starts between 16–22 weeks.

Hiccups: Rhythmic, repetitive thumps that can last a few minutes.

Jabs: Those late-third-trimester reminders that space is getting tight!

Pro tip: Once you hit your third trimester, getting to know your baby’s "normal" movement pattern is key. If you ever notice a significant change or decrease in movement, always give our office a call!
