September 1st marks the beginning of the beloved "Ber Months"—September, October, November, and December - a time when Filipinos joyfully anticipate the Christmas season with gift-giving, festive decorations, and heartfelt traditions celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. This period holds a special place in our hearts as the longest Christmas celebration in the world.

But also with the festive cheer, today also calls us to extend compassion, understanding, and meaningful action towards those who may be struggling with hopelessness or feeling a diminished sense of purpose. As the season of joy begins, let us remember to support one another with kindness and hope.
