𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗥𝗛𝗨 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶

The RHU Polangui Team successfully underwent the LGU Health Scorecard Institutional Validation 2026 demonstrating strong systems, organized documentation, and a steadfast commitment to quality public health service.

The evaluation was conducted by the Department of Health (DOH) – PDO and PHO Team, led by DMO IV Ms. Tricia Barozo. The RHU Team, headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Mario Cerillo, together with Public Health Nurses Ms. Angelique Sarte, Ms. Zarah Preagola, Mr. King Encisa and HRH Representative Team Leader Ms. Eunice Rafallo, proudly represented the municipality in this assessment.

The activity was graced by the presence of Honorable Municipal Vice Mayor Cherilie Sampal and Municipal Councilor on Health William Buendia, reaffirming the strong support of local leadership for health governance.

This validation underscores RHU Polangui’s unwavering commitment to delivering quality, efficient, and responsive healthcare services to every member of the community.

𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗫-𝗥𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗡 | 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼

A Free Chest X-Ray Caravan was conducted in Barangay Ponso, sponsored by the DOH Bicol Center for Health Development, aimed at strengthening early detection and TB screening services in the community.

The activity was facilitated by Midwife Arlene, with the assistance of the Barangay Council, Barangay Health Workers, and Barangay Tanods. The RHU Team also assisted in the successful implementation of the activity.

This initiative supports the promotion of early diagnosis and prevention of tuberculosis and other chest-related conditions.

A PuroKalusugan follow-up activity focusing on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) was conducted in Barangay Napo to strengthen community health monitoring and prevention efforts.

The activity was led by Nurse KC, with the assistance of the Barangay Council and local health workers.

This initiative continues to promote proactive health management and community-based prevention of NCDs.

The Department of Health – Bicol Center for Health Development (DOH Bicol CHD) conducted the Philippine Integrated Management for Acute Malnutrition (PIMAM) Training for Doctors at Lotus Blu Hotel, Legazpi City.

Dr. Gerard attended the training to further enhance knowledge and skills in the management of acute malnutrition, strengthening the delivery of quality nutrition and health services in the community.

A Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Check-up and Obesity Awareness Campaign was conducted in Barangay Lourdes, aiming to strengthen preventive health services and promote healthy lifestyle practices in the community.

A total of 57 clients were served during the activity.
