We at Iloilo Provincial Hospital - IPH will be having our monthly blood donation activity on October 12, 2022 (Wednesday) at Barangay Rumbang Covered Court, Pototan, Iloilo.
Everyone are encouraged to donate to help save lives through blood transfusion!

Pre-registration starts at 7:30 AM
Late potential donors may be refused after 10:30 AM

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
You can donate blood if you…
- Are in good health
- Are between 16 to 65 years old (16 and 17 years old need parents consent);
- Weigh at least 110 pounds (50 kgs.);
- Have a blood pressure between:
Systolic: 90-160 mmHg, Diastolic: 60-100 mmHg; and
- Pass the physical and health history assessments.

Preparation before donating blood
1. Have enough rest and sleep (a minimum of 7 Hours is recommended).
2. No alcohol intake 24 hours prior to blood donation.
3. No medications for at least 24 hours prior to blood donation.
4. Have something to eat prior to blood donation, avoid fatty food.
5. Drink plenty of fluid, like water or juice.

*Persons who have tattoo, acupuncture, surgery, and ear piercing may donate 1 year after the procedure

*Regular donors are allowed to donate three (3) months after the previous donation.
