Thank you Rev Father Tomas Delicana Jr. for leading the All Saint’s Day mass on Nov 1, 2023 and to all who attended the event.

After the mass, our visitors spent time onsite to pray for their loved ones who have gone ahead. VMMG’s gazebo and tents provided relief from the sun during the day, while our lamp posts gave light and kept our visitors safe at night.

Afterwards, attendants spent time at the memorial garden to visit and pay respect to their loved ones who have gone ahead.

Our Humble Beginnings

In March 2008, a small group of Pototanons (natives of Pototan) who were aware of the need for additional burial ground, purchased a 3.3- hectare land of rolling verdant meadows in Barangay Iwa Ilaud, Pototan and developed it into a modern cemetery. Eventually Verdant Meadows Memorial Garden (VMMG) was developed.

VMMG is approximately 2.5 km North of Pototan town proper and 800 meters to the right from the National Highway spanning Iloilo City and Roxas City. It is accesible from the National Highway though Barangay Road in Zarrague and through Provincial Road in Iwa Ilaud. Located on wondrous height, one can view the rice fields below and the mountains of Di**le afar from the site. VMMG is nestled among the quiet wooded hills and far from the hustles and bustles of busy life.
