July 04, 2025 – EFSAN in Magsaysay🍃

As part of our commitment to improving community nutrition and hygiene, the Provincial Health Office – Nutrition Services, together with members of the Provincial Nutrition Committee, conducted an Evaluation on Food and Sanitation (EFSAN) in Barangay Magsaysay, Prosperidad.

The evaluators visited the home of a child who was previously recorded as malnourished last year and has now successfully transitioned to normal nutritional status. The EFSAN focused on assessing their food sources, feeding practices, and the overall sanitation of their living environment.

This visit highlights the important link between proper nutrition, safe food handling, and maintaining a clean and healthy home. Let this be an inspiration that—with proper support, strengthened programs, and empowered families—nutrition goals are truly achievable!

July 03, 2025 – Malunggay Planting🌱🌱

As part of the Nutrition Month 2025 celebration, the MHO Prosperidad joined hands in planting Malunggay (Moringa) — a simple yet powerful step toward food and nutrition security in our communities!

Malunggay is known as a super gulay — rich in nutrients, easy to grow, and a perfect addition to every family's diet. Through this initiative, we hope to not only increase awareness about the importance of nutrition, but also empower every household to take part in building a healthier, well-nourished Prosperidad.

Nutrition Month 2025 is Officially Launched in Prosperidad!🎉

Today, June 30, the Municipality of Prosperidad proudly launched this year’s Nutrition Month Celebration, carrying the empowering theme:

"Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!"

This theme calls on everyone to recognize that access to safe, nutritious, and adequate food is not a privilege — it’s a right! Let’s work together to make food and nutrition security a top priority in every home, every barangay, and the entirety of our municipality.

As a symbol of our unified commitment, streamers were strategically installed across key areas in our locality to spread awareness and ignite action throughout the community.

Together, let’s make every plate nourishing and every voice count in building a healthier, stronger Prosperidad!💪💚

Para sa himsog nga ngipon ug hayag nga mga pahiyom!😁🦷

The Municipal Health Office of Prosperidad successfully conducted an Oral Health Orientation for Day Care Workers on June 26, 2025, at Municipal Conference Hall.

Spearheaded by Dr. Liza Batumalake, Municipal Dentist, together with the dedicated staff of the MHO, the orientation aimed to equip Day Care Workers with essential information and practical techniques on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and their vital role in shaping the dental habits of our young learners.

The activity was made even more meaningful through the presence of our Resource Speaker, Dr. Edith D. Mangmang, Provincial Dental Coordinator, who shared her knowledge and expertise on dental hygiene practices and early prevention.

As part of the orientation, each participant received a dental mouth model to help them demonstrate proper toothbrushing techniques to the children under their care.

Together, let’s promote healthy smiles, one child at a time!😁

📣 𝗜𝗗𝗢𝗟 𝗞𝗢 𝗦𝗜 𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗬: 𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚👨‍👧‍👦

We witnessed an inspiring gathering of fathers, leaders and advocates during the “Idol Ko si Tatay” training conducted on June 24, 2025 at Prosperidad Municipal Hall. This training is a heartwarming reminder that fatherhood is more than just a role, it is a lifetime commitment to love, guidance and growth.

✨ As 𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮, 𝗠𝗛𝗢 beautifully said,
“𝓔𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓲𝓼 𝓾𝓷𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰.”
Learning does not stop in the classroom but it lives in our homes, in how we raise our children, and in how we continue to grow as parents and individuals.

💬 And as 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘇𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮, 𝗣𝗛𝗡 reminded us,

PTV Agusan del Sur visits the Provincial Health Office today to verify the Public Health Advisory posted yesterday, June 18, 2025, regarding the First MPox Case in the province of Agusan del Sur.

Dr. Jacqueline Frances F. Momville, -Provincial Health Officer II, and Dr. Annie P. Abordo-Dioso, -Medical Specialist, provided information regarding the management for Monkey Pox Virus (Prevent-Isolate-Detect-Treat-Rehabilatate), the history and current status of the patient and shed light to some misinformation posted in social media.
