BLS and Advanced First Aid Training
📍 NEST Resort, Balaoi, Pagudpud

Amma Jadsac District Hospital remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen the skills and preparedness of its employees in handling medical emergencies, both within the hospital and in the community. In line with this commitment, our team recently took part in an intensive Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced First Aid Training held at NEST Resort, Balaoi, Pagudpud.

The training equipped participants with vital life-saving techniques, including proper CPR, choking management, wound care, fracture immobilization, and effective first response during critical situations. More than just a skills upgrade, the program reinforced the importance of presence of mind, teamwork, and compassion in times of crisis.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to our dedicated and highly skilled facilitators, led by DRRM-H Manager Ma’am Marivick Doroni Balaweg, together with Ma’am Faie Antonette Guillermo Cabulagan, Ma’am Eden Chona Ramos, Sir Joselito Tagalicud, and Sir Reynald Cortez Materum. Moving with Heart, Healing with Joy!
This week, we danced, we laughed, we played — and most of all, we celebrated the incredible people behind every patient’s care. From Zumba grooves to giant volleyball game, the energy was contagious and the team spirit unstoppable!

In celebration of National Hospital Week 2025, AMMA JADSAC District Hospital joined the entire nation in recognizing the vital role of hospitals in delivering quality healthcare to the Filipino people. This year’s theme, “Hospital: A Healthy Workplace For All Sa Bagong Pilipinas”, highlighted the commitment of health institutions and workers in ensuring accessible, efficient, and compassionate service.

The week-long celebration kicked off with an energetic Zumba session held at the hospital grounds on August 4. Staff from all departments enthusiastically participated, promoting wellness and teamwork through dance and movement.

A highlight of the celebration was the Hospital Olympics, which featured an all-out game of big version of volleyball. The event fostered camaraderie and a sense of unity among the hospital’s healthcare team while emphasizing the importance of physical activity and stress relief in the workplace.

To extend the hospital’s service to the community, a Free Blood Typing Activity was also conducted, catering to walk-in patients, hospital visitors, and nearby residents. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of knowing one’s blood type for emergency preparedness and future medical needs.

The celebration not only boosted staff morale but also strengthened the hospital’s bond with the community. AMMA JADSAC District Hospital remains committed to its mission of service with compassion, resilience, and excellence.

Cheers to our modern-day healthcare heroes and to a healthier, stronger bayan! 🇵🇭🩺
