𝗔 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
Today, Palawan Medical City began its 23rd Anniversary celebration in a way that truly reflects who we are and what we stand for.
Before any program, before any gathering, we chose to spend our time with our brothers who are Persons Deprived of Liberty.𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸, 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 — 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀.
Christmas is a time for love, giving, and being with family. But it is also a time to remember those who cannot celebrate the same way we do. That is why this visit meant so much to us. 𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗗𝗟 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻. No one should feel forgotten, especially at Christmas.
We brought simple gifts like hygiene kits, industrial fans, and a television to support their livelihood learning. These may be small things, but we hope they brought comfort and reminded them that people are rooting for their healing and growth. At Palawan Medical City, we believe that everyone deserves hope, respect, and kindness. 𝗪𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. 𝗪𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗽, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻.

And to the PPCJ and our PDL brothers, thank you for the beautiful and heartfelt 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹 you gifted us. It is one of the most meaningful Christmas gifts we have ever received. This parol represents so much more than light. It symbolizes hope, unity, and the belief that light can shine even in places where life can feel heavy. We will proudly display it at Palawan Medical City as a reminder that compassion is our guiding star — today and always.
