[ICYMI] PNA Palawan strengthens professional collaboration in MIMAROPA
The Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. – Palawan Chapter actively participated in the “Strengthening Professional Networks: Capacity Building for Accredited Integrated Professional Organizations (AIPOs) and Accredited Professional Organizations (APOs) in MIMAROPA,” facilitated by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) MIMAROPA under the leadership of the Regional Director, Dr. Reynaldo D. Agcaoili. The activity served as a vital platform for dialogue, capacity building, and strengthened collaboration among professional organizations in the region.
The activity was held on December 18, 2025, at the American Corner, University Library, Palawan State University, Tiniguiban Heights, Puerto Princesa City. Key agenda items included the introduction of participating AIPOs, APOs, and professional organizations, as well as a discussion of PRC Resolution No. 1910 s. 2024 on the revised guidelines for accreditation of professional organizations and integrated professional organizations; PRC Resolution No. 1837 s. 2024 on the guidelines for the oath-taking of new professionals and former Filipino professionals; the process of application as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider; updates on PRC IV-B (MIMAROPA) developments and projects; and the election of officers of the Society of Professionals in MIMAROPA.
Representing the Philippine Nurses Association were Nurse Darius Carl P. Junio, Palawan’s Representative to the PNA House of Delegates, and Nurse Joycelyn F. Dalendeg, President of the PNA Palawan Chapter, reaffirming the Association’s commitment to professional excellence, ethical practice, and interprofessional collaboration.
